Pipe Freezing

Pipe Freezing

In the pipe freezing process, a section of pipe is segmented off to create an ice plug, allowing modifications to be made on the remainder of the plumbing system. Our plumbers will install a freezing chamber in the appropriate place, and special adhesive tape is used to hold everything in place while liquid nitrogen is injected. Once the ice plug is formed, necessary modifications can be performed.

  1. Step 1

A freezing chamber is applied, using special adhesive tape.

  2. Step 2

    Liquid nitrogen is injected.

  3. Step 3

    All necessary modifications are performed.

  4. Step 4

Once the modifications are complete, the injecting hose and freezing chamber are removed, returning the pipe to its original state.
